A new STEM Center has opened inside the Learning Resource Center at Mesa College. It’s part of the STEM Conexiones Program, which provides support for Hispanic and low-income students working toward a science, technology, engineering, or math degree. STEM Conexiones’ budding scientists, engineers, and mathematicians have access to counseling, workshops, tutoring, and equipment like computers with STEM-specific software. Mesa’s STEM Center was made possible by a $5 million grant from the US Department of Education.
