SDSU Has a New Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences Complex

This 85,000-square-foot complex brings scientists, engineers, and mathematicians under the same roof

San Diego State University is bringing scientists, engineers, and mathematicians under the same roof in the spirit of collaboration. The new Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences Complex is filled with shared spaces where researchers can join forces to find solutions to our greatest challenges. The 85,000-square-foot Mission Revival building is home to the university’s MRI machine, which helps researchers understand the workings of the brain. SDSU also plans to move its Viral Information Institute into the building.
