Local entrepreneurs are getting a leg up at the city’s first diversity-focused business accelerator, Connect All @ the Jacobs Center. CAJC is providing coworking space, mentorship, access to investors, and more to businesses run by members of underrepresented populations, including African Americans, Latinos, LBGTQ, and veterans, and those from lower-income groups.
“Together, we will be working to expand and strengthen our local economy by making it more diverse and inclusive,” says Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation President and CEO Reginald Jones.
The six-month accelerator program is a joint effort by the city, the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, and the local accelerator Connect.
