Podcast of the Year: Remembering Bradley Fikes

Before the Thanksgiving Holiday, the San Diego biotech community lost a great champion. Bradley Fikes, the Union-Tribune’s biotech writer, was dedicated to understanding and explaining our industry’s breakthroughs to the public (an important service). In this podcast, posted a month ago, Bradley discusses fedratinib and the 15-year journey to FDA approval.  It’s good to hear his voice as he details all sides of the story from patient journey to drug development hurdles.  He was passionate about what the biotech industry can do—save lives—and he was dedicated to telling the world about it.  Bradley, you will be greatly missed.
