A craft brewery and the maker of a virtual skydiving experience are among the 15 local companies picked for MetroConnect’s 2017 program, which helps them expand into international markets.
Previous participants have collectively generated $10.5 million in export sales, added 50 jobs, and set up nine overseas facilities.
Recipients have access to grants, discounted airfare, a staff manager from World Trade Center San Diego, and can compete for $35,000.
